RHS Wisley is situated in a sleepy corner of Surrey in the English countryside. It is a world class garden given to the Royal horticultural society in 1903, the site has developed over the years into a place of beauty, and a place of horticultural knowledge. There is a special library houseing collections on plants and garden design. You can see different planting thoughout the year in the garden, and tour the Glasshouse which has a world class plant collection with various climatic zones showing tropical, moist temperate and dry temperate habitats. Exploring further you can go into the Alpine displayhouse and see alpines from around the world. The garden has ponds and a lake to enjoy. And places to eat a gift shop and garden center so that you can take home that special plant to remind you of your visit. The garden is open to the general public all year round with pleanty of special events throughout the year to enjoy.
